Mrs. Bernadine C. (Wolf) Beiswenger 88, formerly of Altoona, died Friday evening at Homewood At Martinsburg.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Fred and Mary (Glass) Wolf. She married Paul A. Beiswenger on January 27, 1943 in Frostburg, Md. He preceded her in death on November 24, 2005.
Surviving are one daughter: Kathleen (David) Stine of Ijamsville, Md.; two sons: Bernard (Julianne) Beiswenger and Charles (Jo Ellen) Beiswenger both of Altoona, six-grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Schmidhamer; Shelly (Jim) Ellenberger; Brian (Crystal) Sullivan; Shannon Sullivan; Eric (Melissa) Pizur; ten great-grandchildren; Jarrett, Jacob and John III Schmidhamer; Patrick, Mason, and Joshua Pizur; Nathan and Ivan Ellenberger; Lucas Pizur; and Mackenzie Sullivan; three sisters: Florence Zeak of Altoona, Rose Beiswenger of Ashville, Mary Bajer of Steamwood, Ill. one brother, Fred of Canfield, OH.; and a son-in-law, Mark Sullivan of Gambrills, Md..
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Paul Jr.; a daughter, Barbara Sullivian; her sisters: Rita Dutkowsky, Theresa Moser, Helen Sanders, and Catherine Stiver; her brothers: Henry and Clair,
Mrs. Beiswenger was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
She was a Phone Sales clerk for Busy Beaver.
Bernadine enjoyed camping, crafts and sewing. She also enjoyed being with her children, grandchild, and great- grandchildren and being around people.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 at St. Rose Of Lima Catholic Church, by Father Brian Saylor. Committal at Calvary Cemetery.
