Carol A. Slowik

Carol A. Slowik January 13, 1950 - October 25, 2009 Mrs. Slowik age 59, of Altoona, PA., died Sunday at her residence. Born in Greensburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert P. and Yvonne (Barrett) Mason. She married Steven M. Slowik on December 18, 1981 at Altoona. Survived by her husband: five daughters: Wanda Spino, Cynthia Fochler, Mary Ellen: Shelly: Robin Miller, two sons: David Miller Sr. and William: step daughter, Stephanie McChessney; Numerous grandchildren, and these grandchildren who was raised in the home Robert Spino and Christina Spino Two sisters: Bobbie Caralli and Kathy Nesbitt and one brother: Scott Mason. Mrs. Slowik was a member of Member of the St. Marks Catholic Church and the Bavarian Aid Society, and Caesar Battista, She enjoyed play pool in many leagues, and bowling Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at the Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home, Inc. 1204 - 17th St. Altoona, Pa. 16601 (www.krishfuneralhome.com ) Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am Thursday at St. Marks Catholic Church, 4th St. And 6th Ave., Altoona. by Father James Coveney officiating. Committal will be at Sts. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers kindly make donations to Steven in care of the Funeral Home.
