Mr. Donald F. Brennan Sr. age 82, of Altoona, died Tuesday morning at his residence.
Born in Altoona, PA., he was the son of the late William Leo and Beatrice (Douglas) Brennan. He married Rose Marie Wike on April 19, 1961 in Altoona. She preceded him in death on August 20, 2009.
Survived by five sons: Donald F. Jr. of Altoona, Steven and wife Diane of Hollidaysburg, James W. and wife Vickie of Altoona,, John and wife Diane of Duncansville, Daniel and wife Lisa of Altoona, grandchildren, Donald III 'Dutch'; Craig, Christopher; Nicole Nagle and husband Stephen; Angie, Kimberly and husband Travis Pope, Brittny and Cindy; great grandchildren, Christian Nagle; and a daughter-in-law, Betty Brennan.
Donald served as a Corporal in the US Army during the Korean War as a Arty Radar operator.
Donald retired in 1990 as a Truck Driver from Ward Trucking after 33 years of service.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public viewing or services.
Private interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
