Donald 'Donnie' James Rabine

Donnie, 52, of Altoona, passed away peacefully in his home Sunday, April 21, 2024, surrounded by family.  He was born in Altoona, son of the late Donald and Patricia (Malloy) Rabine.
Surviving are his siblings: Kathie (Ken) Civils; Patty (Bob) Hopfl; Jean (Randy) Koury; Mary (Dave) Heller; Teresa (Brian) Thomas; Paul (Kathy) Griffith and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
Donnie was a member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament where he enjoyed volunteering in the church and attending mass.  He also enjoyed participating in Special Olympics sports, martial arts and also was an instructor, square dancing and activities with the ARC of Blair County as well as attending Crossroads and ACEL adult day programs.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday May 23, 2024 at 10 am at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, Msgr. Stanley Carson officiating. Family will  begin gathering at 9:30 at the Cathedral. Inurnment at Calvary Cemetery.
