Edna M. Clapper

Edna M. Clapper July 29, 1915 - December 1, 2009 Edna M. Clapper age 94, of Altoona died Tuesday evening at his residence surrounded by her family.. Born in Altoona, she was the daughter of the late Walter S and the Annabelle (Wolfe) Cashman. She married Russell E. Clapper on October 7, 1932 in Cumberland Md.. He preceded him in death on May 5, 1989. Survived by two daughters: Annabelle (Charles) Fisher and Sandra J. (Daniel) Morrison all of Altoona, Four sons: Walter W. Sr. (Dorothy M.) and John R. (late Joy A.) of Altoona, George M. (Kathy) of Ashville, David C. (Kathryn) of Altoona, 38 grandchildren 66 great grandchildren and 44 great-great grandchildren. Also by a care giver Betty L. Clapper. Predeceased by her sons, Russell and Robert, and a daughter, Janet Baker. Mrs. Clapper attended Altoona Bible Church in her early years. Edna enjoyed playing the organ, doing crossword and other puzzles. Friends be received from 4 to 8 pm Thursday Dec. 3, 2009 and from 9 to 10 am Friday at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home, Inc., 1204 - 17th Street, Altoona, PA.. A funeral services will be held Friday, December 4, 2009 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. by Pastor James A. Zaebst officiating. Committal will be at Blair Memorial Park, Altoona.
