GENE R. KYLE

Gene R. Kyle, 81, Altoona passed away Tuesday at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Leslie Harold and Eileen Matilda (Byrne) Kyle.

Surviving are a daughter, Sherry; a son, Clinton H., and wife, Bonnie; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Dona “Sue” Byrne; and a brother, Gary.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce; and a sister, Joyce Harding.

Gene was a dock worker employed by A & P Warehouse. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and motorcycle riding.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, 2017, at Blair Memorial Park Chapel, Antis Township, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. by Pastor Richard Harter. Arrangements are by Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona.
