Genevieve Helen Musto, 98, formerly of 320 Pleasant Valley Blvd., passed away Monday morning at Graystone Manor at Bellmeade.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Mark and Victoria (Kwolek) Cecula. On Nov. 16, 1940, she married Michael Musto in Altoona, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 28, 1976.
Surviving are a sister, Sophie Klein; four nieces: Connie Angeski, Marcella (Joe) Ianniello, Joan (John) Adams and Nelda Shutt; a nephew, Amerigo P. Musto; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and a daughter-in-law, Linda Gail Musto of Lake City, Fla.
She was preceded in death by a son, Arthur E. Musto on Sept. 18, 1993; a sister, Bertha Angeski; and two brothers: Patrick Sickles and Thaddus Cecula.
Genevieve was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish, a former member of Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, and a member of Rosary Society, Senior Chorus at Blair Senior Center, Golden Nuggets and Mercy Hospital Auxiliary.
Friends will be received from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 12 Ave. & 20th Street Altoona, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Father Dennis Kurdziel celebrant. Committal will be at Ss. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be sent to Our Lady of Fatima Parish 2010 12th Ave. Altoona, Pa. 16601.
