Joseph P. Good, 84, of Altoona, passed away peacefully Saturday evening surrounded by his family and friends at his daughter Lisa’s home.

Joe was born in Altoona, the son of the late Stanley and Anna (Suja) Good.

Survived by one daughter: Lisa Marie Good Romanowicz Colyer and husband Carl Colyer, grandson Charles Joseph (CJ) Romanowicz and two other "daughters" Denise Petras (Ryan and Julia Petras, and Daryl Guillory) and Stacy DiDonato (Matthew and Andrew DiDonato).

Three sisters: Josephine Stoltz, Rose Keranen (Marlin Keranen) and Frances C. Good.

Predeceased by his brother, Stanley Jr. 'Sonny'.

Joe was an Altoona High School graduate.

He served during the Vietnam war in the Army from Oct 10,1961 to Oct 9,1964.

Joe loved his daughter, grandson, gardening, hiking, and all of his pets (especially Murphy). He truly enjoyed nature and all animals, and drinking his beer and brandy on the front porch.

Joe was a member of American Legion (Altoona), Buccinese Club, and St. Stanislaus Kostka brotherhood.

A member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He worked as a lumberjack for the sawmill in Mill Run, a laborer for Fry Metals, a crane operator for Bryce Saylor & Sons and New Enterprise, and a landscaper for Wertz Landscaping.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date by the family.
