Joseph “Junior” Paul Jaronieski Jr., 56, of Altoona, died at his residence on Wednesday, his 56th birthday. He was born in Altoona, the son of Joseph and Anne (Benton) Jaronieski.
Surviving are his parents and two sisters: Paula (Douglas) Parke of Lenexa, Kan. and Jennifer (Jeffrey) Wilk of Burlington Township, N.J.; his nephews: Derek, Trevor, Kobe, and Jordan Parke and Austin and Logan Wilk; and one niece, Cheyenne Wilk; and his loving dogs, Cassie and Brandi.
Joe was a 1984 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School. He was the owner of Triple J Excavating. He had been employed by F. L. Smithe and currently was the steward at St. Stanislaus Kostka Brotherhood.
Joe loved spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed fishing at Glendale on his pontoon boat. Joe found great purpose sharing in his niece’s and nephews’ successes relating to college hockey, firefighting, law enforcement, hunting, fishing, and soccer. He loved sporting his niece's Lebanon Valley College shirts or his nephew's purple K-State shirts. Joe was wholeheartedly there for those in his life and his unconditional love will be missed.
