Margaret C. Coble

Margaret C. Coble, 95, Altoona, died Tuesday morning at Golden LivingCenter-Hillview.
She was born in Johnstown, daughter of the late Theodore J. and Elizabeth Philomena (Weis) Young. She married Clyde H. Coble on April 10, 1937, in Cumberland, Md., and he died Feb. 26, 1973.
Surviving are three daughters: Sandra Ferry, Helen Coble and Patty Merriman; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary âGertieâ Mauk; and a brother, Henry C.
She was preceded in death by four siblings: John, Paul, Charles and Helen Young.
Margaret was a 1935 graduate of Altoona High School. She retired as a bread packer in 1980 from the A&P Bakery. She was a life member of the Bavarian Aid Society, and she enjoyed bowling, gardening, boating and crafts.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2012, at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona, followed by a funeral service outside of Mass at 11 a.m. by Monsignor Stanley Carson. Inurnment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
