MARGARET 'PEG' L. BUMBERGER

Margaret L. “Peg” Bumberger, 82, Altoona, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning at her residence.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Margaret L. Frederick. On Aug. 9, 1952, she married Otto Frank Bumberger who preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 2009.

Surviving are three daughters: Susan C. (Ronald) Gorsuch of Alexandria, Judy A. (Dennis) Mainhart of Portage and Kathy Bumberger of Altoona; a son, Otto Dale (Darla) of Hollidaysburg; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Marty Bumberger of Riggles Gap.

She was preceded in death by a son, David; and a grandson, Ronald L. Gorsuch Jr.

She was a graduate of Altoona High School. She was a loving mother and housewife and she assisted her husband in their monument business.

Peg was devoted to her faith and loved her pets.

At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing. A private service and interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
