MARY JOYCE (LEFORT) HOGANS

Mary Joyce Lefort, 52, of Altoona, was received by the Lord Thursday evening at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in Johnstown, daughter of the late Kenneth Lee and Betty Mae (Sprankle) Lefort.

Surviving is a son, Joshua David Boyles; a granddaughter, Riley Mae; two sisters, Jenniffer Jones and Edith Marie Kelley; and two brothers, Kenneth Lee Lefort Jr. and Benjamin Otto.

Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth A. Lefort; and a special companion, Jeffrey Allen Yingling.

She was employed as a waitress at Sal's in Juniata for more than 20 years.

Mary volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul Sister Paula Soup Kitchen and the 28th Street Church of the Brethren.

She was the most kind and giving person and helpful to everyone.

Mary loved her cats, Sweet Pea and Kenny.

At request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or service.
