Mildred Elizabeth “Milli” Jaronieski, 87, of Altoona, died at UPMC Altoona.
Milli was born in Youngstown, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Maggie (Siljak) Vukich. Her husband, Edward Lawrence Jaronieski, whom she married on September 13, 1958, at Altoona, he preceded her in death on January 5, 1991. Survived by nieces, Karen Harrison (Karen Giffen) of Cleveland, OH; Charlene Harrison (Marge Bartman) of Akron, OH; Becky Harver DeFrank of Austintown, OH; Great nieces and nephews, Christina Davis; Bobby Harrison; David (Gloria) Harrison; and Matthew (Katie) Harrison; nephews, Joseph P (Ann) Jaronieski; Gene Jaron. And a grand nephew, Joseph P. Jaronieski Jr. of Altoona.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Pete Vukich, Stanley Miller, Bob Miller and Paul Miller, Sisters, Carolyn Mullen, Lillian Lawson, Ann Daniels, Marie Lee Harver and Rose Davis.
She was a bank teller, employed by First Commonwealth, a sales associate at J. C. Penney’s Jewelry Department, Kranich’s Jewelry. Millie also worked at the Blair County Tax office. Millie enjoyed watching hummingbirds and listening to wind chimes. She also enjoyed Joe’s Jr. dogs Brandy and Cassie.
Milli's family would like to thank the staff with Family Hospice for the kindness shown and care given to Mrs. Jaronieski.
