Patricia J. Daugherty, 71, Altoona, passed away Wednesday morning at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Paul and Ruth (Copenhaver) Gelbke. She married Robert A. Daugherty on March 11, 1961, in Winchester, Va.
Surviving are her husband, Robert A. Daugherty; two daughters: Deborah (Rowan) McCaulley of Tyrone and Kimberly Kelley of Altoona; a son, Craig (fiancée Karen) of Edenton, N.C.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Michael (Jean).
Patricia was a graduate of Altoona High School and was employed as a school bus driver for Bellwood-Antis School District. She had served as president and secretary of the Logan Valley Broncs and was also a member of the Huntington Sheriff’s Posse.
Patricia loved her animals, cats, dogs and horses and camping at Branch Camp, Huntingdon.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or service. Private interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery.
