Patricia Ann Dibert, 87, formerly of Altoona, died Thursday afternoon at Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Thomas A. and Anna H. (Muri) Dibert.
Pat was a loving and special aunt to nephews: Roderick Baronner (Rose Ergler) and Randal Baronner (Theresa Chirdon); and nieces: Paula Baronner and Marilyn Bevan (Gary). She is also survived by numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia M. Baronner; and a brother, Thomas Dibert.
Pat was a 1945 graduate of Altoona High School and retired in 1983 from Gulf Oil Corp. She was a devout Catholic and was a former member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
Pat was truly a gifted artist. She was a founding member of the Altoona Allied Artists Guild. She was adept in various media, including oil and acrylic painting, sculpting, wood carving and mosaics. She also enjoyed photography and loved to garden.
Friends will be received from 9:15 until the 10 a.m. funeral Mass Saturday, July 18, 2015, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Altoona. A private committal will be at Greenlawn Cemetery of St. Michael’s, Hollidaysburg.
