Patricia Anne Ronan, 70, Altoona, peacefully passed away Friday morning at her residence.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Dr. Joseph A. and Margaret M. (Bonner) Ronan.
Surviving are her sister, Rosemary Ronan, with whom she resided; seven nieces and nephews; fourteen great-nieces and nephews; five great-great-nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Nancy G. Ronan.
She was preceded in death by her three brothers: Joseph A. Ronan Jr., William J. Ronan and Father Eugene T. Ronan; and a sister-in-law, Antonetta Ronan.
She was a 1964 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School and a 1968 graduate of Immaculata College. She was a teacher and then a principal, employed by the former St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, from 1971 until retirement in 2012, after 41 years of service. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
Patricia was an avid reader and a golfer. She loved her trips to the beach, but especially loved time with her nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2017, at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Father Brian Saylor celebrant. Committal will be in Calvary Cemetery.
