Pauline M. Bollinger, 92, of Logan Township, Altoona, passed away Saturday afternoon at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Harry and Marie (Wood) Zimmerman. She married James W. Bollinger on Oct. 4, 1941, at Dry Run Chapel, Newry. He preceded her in death on Aug. 25, 1992.
Surviving are two sons: Kim M. and wife, Deborah J., of Tyrone and Barry and wife, Melissa A., of Altoona; two granddaughters: Cristina M. Reedy and Lisa; two grandsons: Jamie R. and Ryan M.; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three siblings: Dorothy Skutchall, Gordon and John.
Pauline worked as an assistant manager at Long’s Dairy Store from 1957 until Dec. 19, 1976. She was a member of Second Avenue United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and taking care and feeding of wildlife.
At the request of the deceased, there will no public visitation. A service will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Gregory Johnson officiating. Private interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
