RAYMOND F. "RAY" MILLS

Raymond F. “Ray” Mills, 77, Altoona, passed away Thursday at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona, son of Frank H. Sr. and Ruth R. (McGirk) Mills.

He is survived by one sister, Ruth R. Mills, with whom he resided.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers: Charles, James, Donald, Frank H. Jr. and Henry “Hank”; and a nephew, Jerry A. Mills, whom he raised.

Ray was a graduate of Altoona High School, Class of 1961. He was a van driver employed by Blair Senior Services for 20 years. 

Mr. Mills was a member of Simpson Temple United Parish and a life member of the Bavarian Aid Society.

Ray enjoyed gardening, bowling and enjoyed his dog, Benny.

Due to the COVID-19 regulations, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family. A private interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are by Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona.
