Sandy O. Whitt, age 59, of Logan Township, died Thursday at her residence. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Herbert and Ella (Lysk) Hart.
She married Terry J. Whitt on Feb. 14, 1999.
Surviving are her husband: Terry; four daughters: Crystal Wingert, Chelsea (Richard) Moore, Cassandra (Johnny Caruso) Whitt and Chaylah Whitt; a son, Christopher Whitt (Sarah Manna); and stepson, Terry Lynn (Anna Mangiaracina- Whitt) Whitt; and 11 grandchildren.
Sandy was the sister of Tina (Joe) Taylor and Randy Hart. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and two dogs, Nyree and Whiskey.
She worked as a nurse’s aide at several nursing homes.
Sandy loved spending time with her husband, children and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and reading. Member of the Catholic Var Veterans
Friends will be received from 4 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Stanley J. Krish Funeral Home Inc., 1204 17th St., Altoona, with services at 5 p.m. with Tyler Pepper, officiating.
