SUZANNE "SUZI" M. JONES

Suzanne “Suzi” Marie (Plutko) Jones, 71 of Clayton, NC, passed peacefully Thursday, October 7th in Raleigh, NC after a brief battle with cancer.

Suzanne was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late Joseph G and Rose M.  (Pawlowski) Plutko. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Ronald Michael Jones; her two sons and their wives Matthew J and Beth A Quatrara of Charlottesville, VA and Nicholas J and Courtney L Quatrara of Wake Forest, NC; along with five grandchildren Lucas A.  and Michael W. , all of Charlottesville, VA; and Anna Rose , Eleanor J. and Joseph R. , all of Wake Forest, NC.

Suzanne was a graduate of  Bishop Guilfoyle High School class of 1968 . Suzi retired in 2015 after a lifelong career in banking/lending. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, baking and crocheting, but nothing gave her more joy than being a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and dog mom

The family welcomes all to join at the Graveside services to be held Friday, October 15th 2021 at 1:00pm at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, 109 Alto Reste Park, Altoona, PA.16601 by Father Michael Scalzi, officiating.
